Suatu ketika, Eli yang sedang dalam perjalanan mendapati bahwa baterai iPod-nya kehabisan daya. Tak jauh dari tempat Eli, ada sebuah kota yang ternyata dikuasai oleh Carnegie (Gary Oldman).

Eli awalnya hanya bermaksud singgah sebentar saja di kota itu untuk mengisi ulang baterai iPod-nya dan melanjutkan perjalanannya.
